Ringer?

You happy about Miami acquiring Trent Green? For awhile there I didn't think it was going to happen. The icing on the cake is that Culpepper was just cleared for practice starting this week. Poor Dante!

Although, as far as I'm concerned Beck is the future of Miami.

Well if Culpepper wasn't leaving Miami, he is now. Guy can't catch a break.

He injured his hand in a two vehicle crash last night on the Sawgrass Expressway.

I'm pretty excited about Trent Green. Not so excited about his age, but at least his knees are "stock".

Green's been like an 80s-90s passer like his entire career, whereas Huard (remember him as a Dolphin?), with the exception of last year, well... sucked. Plus, Huard hadn't played for like 4 years prior to last year. I dunno, I think Kansas City is completely retarded.

I see this turn of events more a sign that the Dolphs are headed in the right direction. More maturity if you will. No more song and dance concerning Ricky Williams, and the ability to realize and unload the mistake that was signing Culpepper... this is progress.

I like Cameron's egineering approach. Just come in and start doing things that should have been done years ago.

Anyways, I look around the AFC and I still just don't see Miami being a serious contender. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't see it. I mean, I'm pretty sure the Pats will win the East which leaves them scrapping for a wildcard spot with teams like the Jets, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Tennessee, Indianapolis, San Diego... the AFC is just too good right now for a team like Miami.

We'll see if Green can explode onto the scene with an attitude. To prove that he's better than Damon Huard, which I think he most definitely is. Remember Huard as a Dolphin? I do, and he blew.
