Off to get the wisdom teeth out...
After 5 years of on again and off again pain it is finally time to get the damn things out. I am freaking out, I know Joe just had his out and said no big deal but I am scared shit less. I haven't been to the dentist in years, and now I am paying for it. I have to get all 4 taken out and they are all impacted, ouch!!
I have been in terrible pain since Saturday, yesterday I went in for the initial exam and they gave me 4 shots of novacaine just to ease some of the pain, guess what, it didn't help. The vicodin isn't even touchig the pain. Grand total of $1616, thank god they take payments.

Dude, mine would have been $2000 if I didn't have insurance. Just make sure you follow their directions!!! Don't smoke, and don't try to eat regular food after two days, you're only kidding yourself. You're teeth may move around a little (the ones closest to the wisdom teeth holes) |

Hold the phone, I'm back. Still with the fucking teeth. I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth and all they were going to give me is novacaine...FUCK THAT, I left. Seeking a second opinion. |

You seriously need to get knocked out. Anything less and you might as well hire some dude to punch you in the face like 40 times. PS, the anestesia (sp?) is gonna cost a butt-load extra. |

I have up to $2000 credit on this dental credit card, so long as it is below that I am good. I just couldn't see not being knocked out, for christ sake. He offered me a valium, I'm thinking to myself what, a valium, that will do NOTHING for the pain. |

All four of mine were impacted. Go under the gas! But if it's a question of money...then...I don't know what to say. It hurts. It'll eventually get better. The first week I couldn't open my mouth all the way, so stick to soup. |

Well now I go tomorrow, and you were right Joe, 754 just for anesthesia. They did a little better on the price of the extraction so it cost exactly $2000. |
