I came into work yesterday morning and the first thing I see in my inbox is a friend request form Chris. I go to the profile and it is a memorial page for Casey's husband Chris that passed away last March.
I add them as a friend and call Casey to inform her of the page and ask who started it, she did not know. So as I look over the page it mentions NOTHING about Casey and the fact that Chris was married, matter of fact it originally said single. I left a comment on the page saying that "Anyone that knew Chris knew that he was married and that he loved his wife Casey very much. Casey was pretty hurt when I talked to her and apparently so were a few other people who made mention in the comments that the creator of the page might want to add the fact that he was married and something about Casey. She has not even gotten a friends request from the person who started the page.
So as of today Casey has no idea who started this and doesn't know why she has not been requested. They did change that he was married and the he had the love of his life Casey, but I just think the whole things was distasteful.

You're not overreacting at all. Whoever made the page should have BY ALL MEANS asked permission of his widow.
Some people have no effin clue. |

i agree...its really distasteful. if anyone should have made a memorial page, it should be his wife.. |

She isn't through the healing process enough to even deal with Chase without him, so this is really getting at her. :( |
