How bout them Marlins?

2 Games back from the Wild Card

We have won the last 8 games in a row.

Going into St. Louis tonight who are holding the NL Central Division lead.

2 Games under .500, hasn't happened since we were 1-3.

GO MARLINS!!

Heard that you guys might be getting rid of Girardi too...something about him not getting along with the GM/owner or some such bullshit. That would be a horrible mistake. Any team on the planet would probably bag their coach in a heartbeat to get him. He really turned that team around. All young guys there too.

hate to admit it, but damn they are exciting to watch, and their pitching, we should just swap starters

Yeah, I'm amazed by their pitching.  Second only to the Mets I believe.

So young, I'd go for a straight up trade make it happen Nat

I am just so glad we are finally in contention for a wild card spot, I didn't think this day would come in this season.  I agree Ryan, I don't think that getting rid of Girardi is a good idea.

How about Dan Uggla, that guy has been impressive, 20 homeruns already, Cabrera is only at 23.

This is the part where I'd paste in a giant B for the Red Sox, but if there was any doubt our season was over, Ortiz may be on the DL for a while due to an irregular heartbeat.

They are saying just for the series, but an irregular hearbeat is not something I would fool with, ya know kinda like an abdominal hernia JOE!

I am freakin baffled by the Marlins.  BAFFLED.  Like caught-with-my-mouth-hangin-open type of baffled.  And those Sox, I actually feel a little bit bad for them.  I can't feel too bad, I'm obviously too busy mourning the death of my Mariners, but every year I attend that funeral the down time is less.  But first Varitek, then Manny with his "hamstring" injury and now Ortiz.  It's like the took the heart, soul and gons from that team, although Manny is back.  I personally am hoping for the Twins in this Wildcard race, with Liriano and Mauer.  Sheesh, knock me off my feet I love those two boys, and can Mauer swing the bat?!?!?  Hot damn.

Natanis.  I got your call last night.  Unbeknowst to you, it was one in the morning my time.  I was getting up a mere three hours later.  I decided to forego the convo and rest in preparation for my early early early morning spin class that I have skipped already this week.  Don't hate me.  You'll probably get a drunken phone call or two or fifteen drunken text/pix when I'm in CT.  And, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING UP AT FOUR IN THE MORNING EST ON A TUESDAY? just a questions, you know, better be a good story.
