Been a little slow around here!!
So I decided I would blog about one of our favorite topics...Food!!
My boss went out and got snacks for the office today. Have you ever heard of Rainier cherries, man they are the best cherries ever. I hate maraschino cherries, really I don't like cherries at all, but these little yellow and red cherries taste like mini plums, they are delish.
Fresca, anyone like Fresca, how about Moxie. My mom used to drink Moxie all the time, now that is a disgusting beverage. I love Fresca, now they have all the different varieties. Peach and what not, I'll stick to the old classic though.
I just got a sub for lunch an Italian, which aren't like the italians from up north but anyways. Anyone who knows me knows I am a meat, cheese and mayo kind of girl. My boss knows this, but apparently the sandwich maker just was not listening. My sub came back with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Now that wouldn't have been a big deal, I could have scraped that off and been good. But NO, they had to go and put oil and vinegar in addition to the mayo, what was this guy thinking. Sandwich officially ruined.
Any thoughts?

those rainier cherries sound good. i dont really care about cherries much but i love plums. how is an italian sub different down there from up here? oil and vinegar and mayo is gross. though i like onions lettuce and all that stuff. |

When I had italians up there it was usually ham, cheese, green peppers, tomatoes and lettuce oil and vinegar. Or whatever fixins you eat on your sandwich. Down here it is, cappicola (sp), ham and salami for meats and provolone cheese. |

Fresca-YUM. Never tried Moxie, no idea what it is except that it rhymes with Choxie which reminds me of that dumb commercial. And totally agreed. Oil and vinegar OR mayo, not both. In fact, mayo is gross. Yum on the provolone. Not that I can eat any of these foods right now anyway, but I have enough experience to talk about it. :) |

I think it is the oldest soda, it started in the late 1800's, before coke or pepsi. It has it's own distinct flavor, I really don't know how to explain it. Definitely not good in my opinion.

Yeah I liked that walk off homer from Willingham on Tuesday, and coming back after being down 6 runs last night, the loss didn't break my heart. |

Well that kinda breaks my heart, but I must admit the rookies are doing a lot better than I ever imagined. Don't worry you still have a ways to go, let's hope no injuries! |

oh I thought you were being sarcastic, seeing as how D Sanchez just had season ending surgery yesterday...Bannister and Zambrano have been out for the season since the first two weeks...Paul LoDuca with his torn ligament in his left thumb...I could go on... |

I love LoDuca, I was sad to see him go, he is good in the clutch. As for the Marlins and 2012, I don't even think they will still be Marlins when they win their next W.S. Their future here is not too bright. |
