Unstable
I just realized how easily you can go from everything is rosy, to felling like a pile of shit in a matter of days, or minutes, even seconds. I am feeling a bit unstable, I have decided that I hate MONEY, or should I say I hate not having money. I am quite frankly in a financial pickle. I just got my fine today from Bonnaroo....drum roll please, $2318. Bullshit, do I fight it and take the chance, no I suck it up and pay the damn fine. I guess it is better than having to go to jail, or take the chance of having a felony on my record. What chaps my ass is that my friend who got charged with the pot, got the same fine, he had 11.5 ounces. So the state of TN has gotten $5736 from just us, imagine how much revenue they created for themselves. On top of having to pay this fine by September 1st, I am also about $600 short of rent this month and I have to make a car payment on the 5th. Fuck shit!!!
I just hope I have a good month at work, looks like I could have a couple of closings, (knocks on wood) but you can't depend on those. Anyways that is all.

Crikey, that's a huge fine. I would try to get it reduced, but I'm not sure of consequences in this situation. I've only ever gotten traffic tickets before. I know what you mean about money, even if you have it there's never enough. |

So that is where it all began, the DTF asked us to step out of the vehicle and we did. One very nice officer hops off the RV and says "So who is the proud owner of the bag in the RV?" Brandon and I looked at each other and he stepped forward to claim the bag. Well here we go, inside the bag was our proceeds for the Bonnaroo trip. 11.5 oz of pot, a scale, bags, basically everything we needed to take a trip to Coffee County Jail. The officer than stated that it was truth time and if we all told them what was in the RV we could have a nice weekend at the festival if not, they were bringing in the dogs. They got to my purse and I pulled out a pipe and about an eighth of mushrooms. "Can I see your ID?" OH FUCK OH FUCK is all that is going through my head at this point in time. "Ms. McK... can you please step over here with us". A brick is about to fall out of my ass at this time. He sat me and Brandon down and explained that he was going to write us up for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana and mushrooms charge and that we had to come up with $1100 on the spot or they would seize the RV. And that we would get our fines in the mail. |

wow, what a scary situation...that sucks, i'm sooo sorry. i would just pay the fine, otherwise you'd pay even more in legal fines right? |
