Ye Ole Subaru
My trusty Impreza is just going to hell on me! It seems like every time I get in it something else stops working. 1st the speedometer stopped working, than the little temp control that goes from heater to ac broke and for awhile it was stuck on A/C but dammit now it's stuck on heater. This morning I realized it's not shifting properly, sometimes the transmission doesn't "catch" and before I know it I am red lining coming out of the toll gates!! Ughh my poor baby has 220K on her, I guess it's time to dump some more money in her!!

220k is just broken in, its worth putting money into it. My dad had a 1990 with 344k on it when he sold it back to the guy he bought it from. That car ruled. |

My last one was an 1989 DL, I bought it with 198K on it drove it to Florida and than put another 200K on her, and sold it to get my Impreza. Saw it running a year later!! Subarus last forever. The Impreza just got a new tranny a few years back too! |

I had 2 1988 GL's...one sedan, one station wagon...both maroon. Crashed the sedan into a carrying school children van and the station wagon died in an intersection (timing chain/belt/gears). They were awesome cars. |

My good buddy in Maine is the Subaru guru, he has so many Subaru's. Everytime I go home we go "scratchin" take those suckers through the mud and the trees, and up hills that no car should ever go!!! Takes a lot to kill em' |
